Have used them several times over the last few years. They’re good about communicating re: scheduling, and they reliably show up as booked. Everything they’ve fixed has held up. Have told me on occasion (for free!) that it’s not worth the cost to try to fix, and to buy a new one instead—which is appreciated.

Michael from Travis County Appliance Repair initially came out to fix a Samsung Ice Maker. He tried a thawing out the lines and performing a few steps to see if it would work. Ultimately, I needed a new internal ice maker, which he installed.My Bosch built-in microwave stopped working. It was eventually determined that the door switches went bac and caused the fuses to blow. Michael came out multiple times, was extremely friendly and professional. His communication was excellent and arrived on-time. I would definitely use Travis County Appliance Repair again, should the need arise.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Recommended by a neighbor - filled out the online service request - contacted soon thereafter to schedule an appointment. Kevin was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem as the igniter on our oven. He replaced it with one he had brought and that fixed the problem.Great communication all along the way and excellent service. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend these folks.UPDATE: I had a new issue with an older appliance and they were able to get the part and replace it for me. Again - great communication throughout the process and great service.Update #2 - needed work on an older range. Michael came on time and quickly fixed the problem. Super service!

Kevin came to repair a Bosch oven that was 4 years old.He was an outstanding professional. His demeanor, social skills and professionalism were remarkable. I called for about a week to other companies to have my stove installed (converted from natural gas to propane) and could not get anyone to do it. I called Travis County Appliance, but hung up without leaving a message. They sent me a text apologizing for missing my call and asked how they could help. With huge doubt, I explained what I needed and they continued to ask me for appliance information; my address and email, and immediately told me they could get me someone to do the work with a specific date. They kept in constant communication with me all the way to the actual install. The technician was amazing and walked me thru the finished work. This company is so amazing! Thank you so much - I'm so happy! Solid 5 stars!

UPDATE: June 13th 2024 - 12 year old Bosch Dishwasher won't turn on for some reason. Called TCAR and they had someone in my house less than 48 hours later. There were two parts it could have been that would have earned them income by parts markup and hourly rate, but they suggested I get a new dishwasher instead. You gotta love these guys! Honesty is a lost quality with most repair people these days. NOT with Travis County Appliance Repair. This is my THIRD experience with them and all three have been great! Call them and you too will end up happy with their service as my wife and I have been.So I have a 10 year old Bosch oven and my wife has been complaining about it not holding temps for a while now. I'm thinking I need to buy a $4000 new oven since it is so old. But I called Travis County Appliance Repair on Thursday afternoon. They set up a Saturday 10am appointment. (What?!? Who does less than 48 hour appointments these days???) the guy shows up on time, is neat and tidy, and fixed the machine for the exact amount of the quote to the penny. Would I recommend them? Oh heck yeah! Update: My Bosch Refrigerator started making this awful noise and Michael came back out and fixed it in no time. Two times they’ve been here, two times I’d recommend them without hesitation.

While he was unable to quiet our spin cycle on our Samsung washer (the repair cost would be excessive to the point of not being justifiable) he was able to give us good information to make an informed replacement decision. Apparently this Samsung washer has a manufacturing defect that causes the spin cycle to be VERY loud. Would gladly use Travis County Appliance Repair in the future.

Our built-in oven suddenly stopped heating and the control panel went dark. Within minutes of completing a Travis County Appliance Repair online service request form, I received a response indicating that an appointment was available the next business day. On the day of the appointment, the technician Michael texted me 45 minutes before his arrival precisely in the middle of the appointment window. Michael arrived and quickly and expertly accessed the oven control panel. After performing diagnostics, he determined the culprit was a thermal fuse. Michael had a replacement fuse in his vehicle which he installed and then tested the oven. Everything worked perfectly. Michael reassembled the panel and removed any residual trash. Michael was professional, personable and took care not to damage anything while in our home. This was my first experience using the services of Travis County Appliance Repair and I would definitely consider contacting them in the future.

Mike and his crew were absolutely AMAZING! They figured out the problem right away. Had parts with them on arrival to not double charge mobile fee. They did have to come back a second time (free of charge) There was a screw on too tight and they went back to ensure that everything ran correctly. I found Travis County Appliance Repair through Thumbtack. My inquiry was answered by them within minutes and they were able to provide an earlier, reasonable, service time than one from another provider I had contacted. Our technician, Michael, arrived within the time frame expected and came prepared with parts needed based on the information I had provided. He was friendly, professional, and wasted no time getting to work. He was done in no more than a half hour. Fridge is now cooling nicely. He also took a look at a second fridge and answered my questions about its performance. It's nice to have a technician that knows what he's doing. Dispatch was also very helpful, delivering a message to Michael about where to park and which door to come to. Best repair experience I've had in years. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with Travis Co Appliance Repair. The customer service rep made sure she understood the problem when I called in to make a service appointment. So much so that the repair guy showed up with the part he thought was likely my oven would need. The company had a great notification system where I got a link to see the technician’s route progress when he was on the way, so I knew exactly when he would arrive. Anthony was very professional and punctual for the appointment. Not only did he get the dishwasher up and running within 15 minutes but also offered some tips on how to keep it running better.

They installed my dishwasher and did a good job.

We purchased a dishwasher from a high-end company. They did not install it because tile was installed after the prior dishwasher that made removing the old dishwasher difficult. Anthony took care of it for the same installation charge as the "high-end" company.
